We're Hiring

Little Apple Podiatry is hiring a Podiatrist!

Are you a Podiatrist looking for a position that fills your schedule without the need to market yourself, in an office that provides medical assistants, advanced wound care therapies, all equipment and supplies?

Little Apple Podiatry is a single physician private practice, seeing up to 150 patients per week. Our office staff handles scheduling and billing, will prepare your patients for treatment, and follows up on all your orders and prescriptions. Our waiting list is 6 months long and that is where you come in! We are looking for a podiatrist that is excited about clinical work.

We are located in Manhattan, KS. We’re a college town, home of Kansas State University, GO CATS! We’re right next door to Fort Riley, a US Army base and home of 15,000 active duty service members, and their more than 18,000 family members. We also have several retirement and senior living communities in the area. We have a population of a bit over 50,000 in town, with the surrounding areas the population is a bit over 130,000. We are the only full time podiatry office for 60 miles or more in any direction. It’s rural medicine here, that means, no call, no admissions, only outpatient surgery at the discretion of the DPM. This leaves your evenings and weekends free for your family, hobbies, and social life.

At Little Apple Podiatry we:

  • Focus on quality patient care
  • Offer a base salary + % of billing over expeses
  • Offer medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits, time off and bonuses
  • Office is fully stocked with equipment and supplies
  • Fill your schedule for you
  • Assist with local credentialing procedures (takes about 3 months if you have not credentialed in Kansas)

Responsibilities:

  •  Examine, diagnose and treat deformities, pain and injuries related to the lower leg, ankle and foot
  • Serve large geriatric and diabetic populations with preventative, comprehensive foot care, wound care, and nail care
  • Serve a large active military population and their families
  • Advise patients on foot and ankle care with both conservative and surgical options
  • Fitting for prefabricated and custom orthotics, with a strong focus on biomechanics
  • Document patient records in accordance with policies and procedures and quality standards
  • Provide high quality care to all patients

Requirements:

  • DPM degree from an accredited podiatry school
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Positive attitude and compassion for all
  • Most important requirement is a personality that exudes empathy & compassion toward the patients and staff
  • Must be LGBTQ affirming

Join our team!

If this sounds like YOU and you are a licensed Board Certified or Board Eligible Podiatrist in good standing, at any stage of your career, we encourage you to apply.  Women, People of Color and LGBTQ strongly encouraged to apply!
