Dr. Mia Cosentino
Dr. Mia has been serving the Manhattan area's podiatic needs since August 2020. A Cum Laude graduate of Biology at K-State, and a Wichita native, Dr. Mia returns to Kansas after studying at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, and completing a 3 year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. During residency, she trained heavily in wound care and trauma of the foot and ankle at a small but high-volume trauma hospital.
As the Covid-19 pandemic hit New York, Dr. Mia was part of the initial response, working with the Infectious Disease team. In a matter of a few days after the first positive case, the hospital became all COVID patients. She was recognized with a certificate of appreciation for her efforts during the initial outbreak of the pandemic.
Dr. Mia found her passion for the biomechanics of the foot as a competitive in-line speed skater, and a roller derby competitor. She was further inspired while working as a member of Big Lakes Developmental Center where she aided the clients during their medical appointments. During her years at BLDC, Mia had the privilege of meeting Dr. Tran and was inspired to apply to podiatry school. She completed her podiatry education and returned to Manhattan to serve the community that inspired her to become a physician.
Ashley Nowell - Registered Medical Assistant, Radiolgical Technologist
Ashley joined the team in November of 2024. Ashley comes to us with experience from all over the country as she has moved around with her Army husband. Ashley completed training and received her certificates in CNA and RMA from Savannah Technical College. Ashley has experience across the board from Urgent Care, to Rural Healthcare and Victim Advocacy. Ashley can be found assisting Dr. Mia with hands on patient care, wrapping up wound care patients, performing blood flow tests, and X-rays. We are so excited to have Ashley and her passion for patient care.
When not at work, Ashley loves antiquing and thrifting. She also loves to travel the world.
Mallory Morton - Medical Assistant
Mallory joined the team in April of 2024. Mallory assists Dr. Mia in providing excellent patient care. Mallory comes to us from Greenleaf, KS where she developed a passion for healthcare in small towns. Mallory's passion and experience in healthcare make her a great addition to the team. Mallory has experience in Long Term Care, medication administration and medical billing.
Mallory is us often told she has an 'old soul' which is reflected in her hobbies including quiliting and baking. Don't be surprised to find her hobbies also include travel adventures and skydiving!
Megan Corral - Billing Specialist
Megan joined the team in July of 2023. She started with us as our receptionist extraordinaire, and is now processing billing and payments. Since joining the team, Megan has streamlined many processes in reception and billing.
When not at work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 boys and their beloved dog.
