Our Team

Dr. Mia has been serving the Manhattan area's podiatic needs since August 2020. A Cum Laude graduate of Biology at K-State, and a Wichita native, Dr. Mia returns to Kansas after studying at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, and completing a 3 year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. During residency, she trained heavily in wound care and trauma of the foot and ankle at a small but high-volume trauma hospital.

As the Covid-19 pandemic hit New York, Dr. Mia was part of the initial response, working with the Infectious Disease team. In a matter of a few days after the first positive case, the hospital became all COVID patients. She was recognized with a certificate of appreciation for her efforts during the initial outbreak of the pandemic. 

Dr. Mia found her passion for the biomechanics of the foot as a competitive in-line speed skater, and a roller derby competitor. She was further inspired while working as a member of Big Lakes Developmental Center where she aided the clients during their medical appointments. During her years at BLDC, Mia had the privilege of meeting Dr. Tran and was inspired to apply to podiatry school. She completed her podiatry education and returned to Manhattan to serve the community that inspired her to become a physician.
